Make sure you are inserting the tampon all the way in. The only thing that should be "external" is the string. You may have to switch brands to a smaller tampon.

Push the string in too. It is there to facilitate removal, you should be able to pull it out when it is time to change (my daughter had to do this on the advice of our family doc who she asked about the same issue of the same problem, took a bit for her to get used to it, but it worked).

Talk to your doctor. There are certain conditions that could cause urine to leak at the edge of the vaginal oriface that can be easily corrected.

The female nurse sitting next to me says that even if the string gets wet it should not be enough to soak the tampon and require changing. She wonders if it is not normal vaginal wetness that is soaking the tampon, which is not uncommon according to her.

Luck!

Hold the string to the side.

um you just sit on the toilet and pee... maybe you were leaning forward or something?

pull it back/ to the side using the string, so it doesnt get wet.

I almost always take it out. If not just try to hold the string to the side and see how that goes.

I hold the string to the front when I pee so that the tampon does not get wet.

I have been using tampons for fifteen years.

The tampon is not inserted properly. it should be way up there and in no danger of falling out

Yes it's possible to urinate without changing your tampon. The string should be the only thing getting wet, and you can just hold it to the side to prevent this from happening. It's not the worst thing if it gets wet, but if it's uncomfortable for you, you can always change it.

i dont know, I always have to change mine too.

Well sometimes its not urine on your tampon. The female produces other fluids in their "area" that are light in color and you may be confusing it for urine. Maybe your not inserting it properly, causing the urine to some how touch your tampon. read the instructions in the box. even thou it wont be a bad idea to change it since your there already. You have to change it about every 3-4 hours anyways.

Just change it, that is about the best time to do so anyway. It is unhealthy to leave a tampon in place too long, if you are you are probably not using the right one for the amount of flow you are having. Try a lighter one.

You pee through your uretha, not your vagina. So if you can't pee, you didn't insert it correctly. Hold the string to the side when you go so that part doesn't get wet.

Pull the string to the side. You have to make sure that your tampon is well inserted. Don't lean forward too much, that also helps.

Just sit and pee. Your urethra is not inside your vagina, so the tampon does not block your urination. If you're concerned about bacteria or anything, use a feminine wipe after you pee. Urine is sterile though, so I doubt it will hurt anything if you pee on the string a bit.

Sometimes if the tampon gets wet while peeing means you don't have it in all the cuz the white tampon part (not the string) is suppose to be in fully. but if the strings getting wet hold the string to the side that's what I do.

oikay the reason its getting wet wen u go to the bathroom is cause its not up inside u all the way u need to insert it so that u cant feel the tampon any more or i u feel the area u shouldnt be able to feel anything but about and 1 &1/2 or about two inches of string and second depending on how heavy ur flow is u might need to change ur tampon every time u go to the rest room any ways because its very unhealthy for u to leave it in over about three to four hours if u have a light flow change it every five welll hope it helps

all that's in my bladder. its weird tho being on your period makes everything done there kinda .....rank

If you are talking about the string getting wet, you can simply dry the string with some toilet paper.

If the tampon is inserted high enough, this shouldn't be a problem.

First off you cant leave the tampon in.You take it out and after you're done put it back in.This HAS to be a joke!

use pads =]
