Try taking a multi vitamin, do daily scalp massages, stay away from chemicals like hair color, perms, etc. and use NIOXIN products for thinning hair, you can find it at some Professional salons. Nioxin even has a hair vitamin you take daily if your interested.

If you have actual bald spots that are round in areas, you may have a more serious problem like alopecia and may want to go to a dermatologist for treatment.

Wear clip in hair extensions. My mom wears them because she has really thin blonde hair and they totally work for her. They make her hair thick looking and no one can tell they are fake. Also eat high calcium foods such as milk, cheese, yogurt, dairy products, etc. Good luck!!

Bald is in style.

You should really go see a dermatologist. Your doc is not specialized to deal with this issue, while a dermatologist is. Someone your age shouldn't be thinning. It could be thyroid issues, vitamin deficiencies or some other problem a special doc could help you with.

Definitely someone to go see!

all the tips already here are good(except for the bald is style!)...by the way just allow me to add an extra tip- massage ur existing hair with coconut oil twice daily...it works!
