Do women bleed after long periods of abstinance?!

Question: I haven't had sex for almost a year, now that I did my partner expected me to bleed. Should I have? Or is this normal since I wasn't a virgin in the first place?

The cervix and vagina are made up of tissue that has elasticity. You may or may not bleed. Since you haven't had sex in so long, it could be possible to bleed as the cervix and vagina might have returned to a state where you were when you had not ever had sex. If your partner is well endowed or just bigger than normal and isn't gentle, it could cause tears in the vagina that can cause bleeding. However, a lot of bleeding is caused by the breaking of the hymen, so if that wasn't there (and it doesn't grow back) then no, you would not have bled. It really just depends on the circumstances. It is normal not to bleed after a year of not having sex.

Not bleeding is normal.

The breaking of the hymen causes the bleeding in virgins. You won't bleed thereafter unless you have other medical issues.

Bleeding after sex isn't normal. Not every virgin bleeds her first time, either.

no you should never bleed

No I don't think you should bleed.

You should be bleeding every month.. And you only bled that one time after you lost your virginity because your hymen broke.. after that you don't bleed anymore after sex.. You can only pop your cherry once.. lol

Only if you have STD that whole year. Your partner seem stupid.

I hardly had sex during my pregnancy, and afterwards I bled. Even after being stretched out a bit. Every woman is different. It is normal to bleed, and normal to not bleed.
