Am I just freaking or what? (I know I keep asking but I keep adding info)?!

Question: My breast\nipples are very sore/tender (for 7 days), I have slight on and off cramping (for 6 days), loss of appetite (for 9 days).

Everytime I look up symptoms on here or somewhere else I get that I'm pregnant. I'm a virgin so that's impossible. I started my period today which is on time (not usual cause their usually a few days late). I had really bad cramps earlier today when it started but have just about stopped now. I usally get real bad cramps that last for 2 days and sometimes 3 but not this time. It's also sort of light. I've never had this happen before. My stomach also keeps feeling funny like muscles twitching or something and like theirs pressure or something.

I am 16.

What's wrong with me?

What's wrong with me?

I can't diagnose your symptoms.

However, first-don't panic OK? The amount of stress you are causing yourself will only make anything worse OK?

If you are a virgin-(good for you!) Thank God you don't need to worry about pregnancy. Stop looking up stuff online. I've practically been diagnosed with Leprosy online! Please relax.

Take care of this first thing in the morning.

For your peace of mind.

First thing in the morning-you need to speak with an adult you trust and request to be seen by a Gynecologist or maybe even a good Family Doctor. Maybe you still have a Pediatrician?

I don't know your family situation. Are you afraid to talk to your Mom? Is your mom available for you?

But most of all-ease your mind. Go see a Doctor who will help you figure out what's up or why you are feeling the way you do.

You seem very in touch with your body and aware of anything different. that's great!

Just tell Mom, you are feeling something weird and you really want to ease your mind and see a Doc OK?

Honestly....I'm 39 years old. I've had two children. I have had the same symptoms with my regular periods as well,

but not even every time.

Hormones are a pain in the butt. Like I said, I will not diagnose you, I'm not a doctor. If you were my daughter though I would tell you that I think you are really OK given the things you described.

But it's best to be sure and see a Doc.

Please relax and realize that you will be fine no matter what OK?
Please let me know OK? Best Wishes!
Sarah

u might be a virgin but is there any way sperm could have gotten in you?

it just happens when you get your period. if it's never happened before, tht's probable considering the cramps and stuff don't happen right when you get your first one and stuff. so of course your not pregnant, so...

i would just take some midol, lay down with a heating pad on your stomach, watch a good show, and have a healthy snack like fruit or something.

you are perfectly normal, those are very normal symptoms of pmt, millions and millions of women experience those symptoms before their periods
bloating, tiredness, sore boobs, cramping, appetite changes are all pre menstral things
hugs you are just fine!

Nothing! Ok, if you are a virgin, STOP reading about pregancy. You are not the Virgin Mary, and ever since then I have never heard of anyone getting pregnant.

All kinds of stuff accompany periods. Bloating, cramps, stomach problems, not being able to sleep, pressure, not being able to digest food. Every period will be different!

Every month we eat different, sleep different, etc, etc. We have stress, or we went somewhere on a vacation or changed our normal routine. All these things affect how each period feels, how heavy it is, how much it hurts, how much it affects our stomach, how much it affects our mood, bla bla bla.

The fact is hormones and menstruation can cause vast differences in the way our body reacts. Over time, these may become regulated and when you get older they won't be as bad.

But experts say to avoid some of this: don't drink caffeine, get sleeps, cut out junk food, bla bla bla bla. Exercise, bla bla bla.

You can try those things, they may help.

But really, you are fine. Your period might be light, it might be heavy. It's the way a woman's body works...especially at the beginning of menstruating and also towards the end (when you're 50ish).

Good luck, girlfriend...and try not to worry.

ur a girl.. i guess... lol. but all i can say is.. our bodys are weird.. like no joke.. i had things happen to me and iwas like WOAHHH! I DIDNT NO I COULD DO THAT!

ahah. so its normal.. i dont htink u are preggers.. cuz u didnt have sex.. and u had ur period...

i had a friend who had to change a pad every hour.. and she was wearing one on top of the other.. cuz that day was soo bad.. and normally.. SHE CANT FILL A LITE TAMPON! haha. so its just the way our bodies are.. soo dont worry about it!

if u were preg. you wouldnt get ur period

well the cramping and breast sorness could b from your period (u should check if its breast cancer!!) lost of appetite idk? hmmm some days I just don't feel like eating but that's me u should go to a walk in clinic or medicalmd.com it should help
if your feeling really diff. than usual and kno something is off go to your doctor but the website should help a lot!

your period is never the same. it may be similar from time to time but your body and hormones are always changing. ive gotten cramps like that before they do go away. if they dont ask your doctor or a gyno

It's very very normal,..so don't worry honey ;)

though my periods are very irregular,..when i do have them i get all the symptoms you get and many more!

Sometimes I'm laid up in bed for day's on end cause the pain is SO bad.

But after the first few day's the pain goes and in the few day's so will the period;)!

And you do wonder what the fuss was all about,..that's until the next one arrives! ;)
