Spotting after sex? (VIrgin)?!

Question: I lost my virginity on Tuesday and had very little bleeding from torn hymen. The next day (yesterday) I had clear brownish/pinkish discharge, from what i read on here it's normal. Today when I woke up I had a little spotting when I went to the BR, it was red (fresh blood). And right now it's back to clear/brownish like it was before. No more blood!!

OK more details:
We did not use a condom, but he pulled out way before he ejaculated because it was too painful for me. The only way I could get pregnant is from pre-ejaculate which I doubt.

My periods are very irregular, I get them like 4 or 5 times a year. My doctor said it's stress related and not to worry about it.

Skin in my vaginal opening was really thick, it was partially broken before but he definitely tore it. Could it be just that still bleeding a bit?

Could it be implantation bleeding? What is implantation bleeding and how long does it last, and how much blood would there be?

My gyno appointment is in 3 weeks.

It's definitely not implantation bleeding. That would only happen after implantation, which would happen about a week from Tuesday at the earliest (it takes a while for the egg to travel the length of the fallopian tube). Most women don't get implantation bleeding anyway. Your bleeding is most likely from the sex.

You'd have to wait a minimum of two weeks from Tuesday before taking a pregnancy test. I'd wait three and take the test at your gyn's office.

i see that there is nothing to worry about, all is totaly normal. even pregnancy test i dont think u have to do that.

i all advise you is that always try to have protected sex

wear condoms in the future and your most likely fine, Lol just a few more times and you'll love it

WOW, I am impressed that you guys were engaged AND had yourselfs tested prior to having sex. I am proud of you!!! And as for your question, you are okay. The bleeding is probably from having intercourse for the first time. If it continues to bleed or becomes painful you need to go see your Doctor. I have no idea what implantation bleeding is you should ask your Doc.

Of course until you are ready to have a baby you should be careful and use birth control or a condom. But you know this. Good luck

I do believe you may be correct in your assumptions of implantation bleeding (though I am NOT an expert).

After ovulation the egg travels into the uterus and burrows into the lining of the uterus. For some women implantation will cause slight bleeding or spotting. This is called implantation bleeding.

Implantation bleeding, does not look like a regular menstrual period. Implantation bleeding is scanty and usually pink or brownish discharge.

Implantation bleeding is fairly common with pregnancy. Twenty to thirty percent of women will have spotting during early pregnancy. If you have some light spotting before your period would normally start this is not something to worry about and may be a sign of pregnancy. However, in your case (as you mentioned your periods are irregular) this may be a little different.

As for how long it will last... My guess would be that it depends on whether or not you are near your cycle and/or whether or not you (somehow) became pregnant.

I hope this information was helpful, and best wishes to you.

Edit: Pregnancy tests should be taken about a week after missed period... but that may be hard to tell for you, love..

dont wry.....u wont be pregnent...your this bleeding is due to ur irregular periods...its justt your mentally tension and stress and nothing else...
