WELL I TAN TOO, SO DO NOT WORRY I BET YOU THEIR ARE MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE THINKING THE SAME QUESTION. I BEEN GOING TANNING SINCE LIKE DECEMBER BUT I BEEN DOING IT FOR LIKE 3 YEARS NOW. NOW DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU GO. SOME SALONS HAVE LAY DOWN BED OR STAND UPS. I USUALLY GO IN LAY DOWNS BECAUSE IT IS RELAXING AND I HATE TO STAND, BUT I GET THAT WHITE UNDER MY ARM PITS TOO. SO TRY TO DO THE STAND UP, IT IS REALLY EASY, THERE IS LIEK TWO ROOMS. THE FIRST ROOM IS WHERE YOU UNDRESS AND LOTION UP AND THE SECOND ROOM IS THE TANNING BED. SO YOU CLOSE THE DOOR AND PUT YOUR ARMS UP AND THERE SHOULD BE STRAPS BUT IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE SALON. THEN IN A FEW SESSION YOU SHOULD NOT REALLY SEE THE WHITE ANYMORE..HOPE THIS HELPS!!
when yo are in a tanning bed half way through your time you are supposed to flip over on your stomach and raise your arms up, or you could just raise your arms up. It is good to flip too, because otherwise you will get stripes.
Just buy some self-tanner and put it under them, that's really all you can do unless you lift your arms up when you tan.
You could get some self tanner like a bottle or something from your local walgreens or something like that, and use that to even it out. I got a free sample of dove's self tanner and it worked pretty good. I recommend that.
