Why will pregnancy make my butt bigger?!

Question: Pregnancy hormones mean that some extra insulation for baby & Mum goes to hips and breasts to help Mum after the birth for supporting breastfeeding. Our pelvic bones also widen slightly after having a baby. Part of the picture is genetics - if your family puts on weight easily you might too. Remember you are not eating for two! If you eat nutritious food & exercise moderately & regulalry you will be in great shape - put on 10 - 15kgs (or so) then breastfeeding your baby afterwards will help you get back to normal size along with good food & exercise. We are what we eat!

oh yeah you will look like a hippo LOL

ur hips will widen during pregnancy...it's because your bones and joints get flexible for the child to pass through the birth canal. Watch what you eat, and you won't widen much. Eat what you want, and you could end up doubling in size.

yes im sorry bt everyone gains weight when there pregnat trust me she was 5'6 and 137 pound before she had my sister then she was 157 after.so sorry but what im sayin gis you will gain weight all over.

Yes it will. Maybe not a lot, but it can.
Your body stores lots of extra fat when you are pregnant in order to insulate your baby. Most of the extra blubber goes to your tummy, but some is distributed in your boobs and your butt.

Your hips should widen during pregnancy so that the baby will have an easier time passing through your birth canal.
Bigger hips = bigger butt.

Most of the time the hips do get bigger ,so yes.
