Question: ok so its about time for my period it should be commin tonight ne ways today in the shower a brown tadpole shaped blood clot came out only it was encased in a clear firm gel it was the consistency of a jell-o jiggler i am also on birthcontrol if that makes a difference... it wasnt huge but it was a pretty good size...i kno tmi but i was just kinda weirded out..

Just sounds like a regular blood clot. I went through a phase where I had them a lot. No worries.
Sorry to tell you but it depending on the size, it could have been a spontaneous abortion (which is quite common, and can happen even with contraceptives).
women have mucous, and ejaculation membranes in their systems and sometimes it cleans out a little bit
That happened to me when I was in high school! It freaked me out! Nothing happened to me after that & I definately wasn't pregnant, so who knows. I hope you're having your yearly gyno visits.
Sorry! It sounds like it may have been a miscarriage (spontaneous abortion). Sometimes you can be pregnant w/o knowing, even with the best bc there is like a 2-3% chance. I think just to be on the safe side you should discuss this with your gyn. Good luck!
