If boys have periods and boys become pregnant?!
Question: Our english teacher told us to write an essay in about 300 words and the topic should be creative. The more creative the topic, the better grades.
My topic was:
If boys have periods and boys become pregnant?
Teacher was shocked when i started to read my essay but she let me continued and i finished it.
Now girls in my class are upset and they are not talking nice with me. Earlier they used to be very nice with me sharing their lunch with me.
What i did wrong?

Periods are considered very private and not to be spoken outside of health class. It is also considered 'weird' that a male would come up with that topic and speak it to the class.
they probably found it kind of sexist since a lot of girls find it offensive when boys talk of periods since you guys know nothing about it. plus they're probably embarrased and a little weirded out. but they'll forget about it soon enough don't worry
Periods are things guys don't rlly need 2 no. I defiantly wouldnt do such a creative idea. The girls might think ur like gay or somethen. Just b careful next time. Funny thing, a boy in our english class wrote about his gf and her period and puberty and stuff and he just forgot about it and moved on. Good Luck! =)

women generally consider periods a curse, cause they do suck. Furthermore, women also tend to be a bit touchy on this subject, especially when men talk about it, because they are a bit jealous that men don't have to deal with it. Also, people were just probably shocked you talked about something like that in front of a class. Just ask one of the girls whats wrong, and if shes says why, apologize. Good friends will accept your apologies.

well, what ever you wrote they must not of liked, girls are very sensitive, and we do not like men assuming they know better about things like childbirth, when obviously they don't!!
in a few days or so they will forget, just be more careful next time! and think about others thoughts and feelings first!
Well you didn't say what the essay said about it but if it was anything other than:
If boys had periods and had to have the babies then the human race would have dies out a long time ago
then you probably made them mad. Having periods and babies is one of the few things left that only girls can do so they may feel you are trying to take something away from them with your essay. Or they could think that you want to have a period and get pregnant and they now think you are weird.
You come across as being younger...so I'm guessing that the topic of periods and pregnancy is a taboo topic. I have no idea what your essay contained. I mean, if you insulted females in anyway, or criticized their bodily processes (lol), then that may have offended them. I can see where you could have said some mean things that you may have found funny, but they found offensive. I am not accusing you of anything, just kind of improvising here...you should ask them why they are acting differently if you're still not sure and then try and clear things up.
That topic probably made them feel uncomfurtable and embarresed because girls actually do get their period.
Well, one reason girls could be pissed at you because guys have NO clue what women go through when they are on their period and are giving birth. and another is you might have said something totally retarded in your paper that made them feel uncomfortable. you should be freakin lucky that you are a guy and don't have to experience periods and birth. and another thing is that they probably think you are VERY immature for writing an entire paper over periods....i hope those girls NEVER talk to you again....LOSER
