Question: can be done but isnt recommended. the blood will make it more difficult to see things such as cancerous tissue etc so it may cause something of the such to go un-noticed. most doctors understand when you call to reschedule because of your period.

Yes, it can be done, but it's certainly not the ideal situation.
Yes it is HOWEVER that should only be if you are going because you are constantly menstruating.
Call the office, tell them you are on your period, and see if they reschedule you.
