Period question?? Please answer!!?!
Question: Okay. I am not sure if this was my first period or not
In January I had brown and light pink spots [probably about 10 or so, only for one day.]
Was this my first period, or was it spotting??
If so, when should I get my next one??
Has anyone else had this experience??

Ha, I wish that was your period, and I wish the same went for me! But, sadly, no, that was just spotting. Nobody can tell you exactly when you will get your period, but if you experience sore breasts or cramping or a sore lower back/thighs, then be prepared. Your period can't be far off, but I can't say for sure when it will come. Just be ready, bring pads with you to public places and to school, and for school, try taking an extra pair of underwear in a safe pocket where people won't see, just in case you get it for the first time while you're at school.

hey, when i had my period for the first time it was exactlly like you said , just brown spots and it was for 3-4 days , but yes i think it's your first period and the next one will be in 20 to 30 days after ,and hey only the first periods are like that and then after few months it will be really like blood coming , and not worry you're ok , but hey it's always good to talk with your parents or your guardians ;)
Mine was pretty brown first day, too. That was a surprise. Don't recall any light pink. I did eventually get blood flow, though. Lasted a few days.
Maybe talk to a doctor? I am not trained so can only tell you what it was like for me. Hope you feel ok with everything.
