Why don't women want to have sex when they have their period?!

Question: Why don't women want to have sex when they are around that part of the month when they are expecting to have their period? Is it uncomfortable, does it hurt or the reason is something else?

Well, some actually do, but most don't. They don't because it's messy. We're all, always in pain on our periods, and we don't really want to shed blood and lining on our partner, I don't know how much they'd like it either. You get your period when the egg is released from your body, so chances are, you cannot get pregnant. But! Ovulation (release of new egg to be fertilized) can occur at any time after the previous egg is released, so as soon as your period starts, you can be vulnerable to be pregnant once again, it's just very rare.

it depends, if ur with you partner who u trust and feel comoftable around then i think most women do, but i know i definately wouldnt with some random person that say u had a one night stand with, its said that women are infact hornier when on theire period, each women must have there own reasons tho if they prefer not too, if its ur partner that wont then ask her, id like to read every 1 elses answers tho!

Maybe a few women don't, but it isn't the general rule of thumb.

no you cant get pregnant but my g f alway duz its just me hu dont want to XD

because most feel unattractive by being bloated, some women feel uncomfortable because of cramps... then again some find it enjoyable.

Maybe PMS if they have cramps or just otherwise don't feel good. Having sex during is just gross which is what your question seemed to be asking....

Some feel ugly on their period. Periods help cause breakouts and women are bloated. Also they have cramps and we are all emotional, so it just wouldn't be as comfortable

A lot of women experience bloating, cramps, tender breasts, back ache and a general "I don't feel good" feeling before and during their period. Yes they are uncomfortable and quite a few of them don't feel all that "attractive" at that time.

Here's the big picture. Understand that each month the lining of a woman's uterus prepares for pregnancy. When conception doesn't happen, it sheds that lining via menstruation. The Bible says not to have sex during this time because its natures way of cleansing the uterus to repeat the cycle of preparing for pregancy. Menstrual periods are messy and smelly and most women don't feel sexy and attractive with that going on.

There is nothing wrong with having sex while ur girl is having her period. There are no germs. No harm. The menstrual blood is perfectly clean.

I think that some ladies aren't cool with blood getting everywhere - that's all! Or conversely, some men don't appreciate seeing blood on themselves...

Some do. I would think the main reasons women don't is because it might be messy (and I would think this is one of the main reasons why some men don't want to do it then) also a lot of women get cramps at that time and just don't feel well enough to do so. But I do know a lot of women have sex at that time and some even report wanting more sex at that time of the month.

I think it mostly depends on how comfortable you are with your partner. I mean, you know, there's blood everywhere... duh... so some women I guess would feel weird about having sex while that is happening. Can get messy, need towels etc etc.

they can get pregnant
