The skin fold covering the vaginal opening has been broken; either through sexual intercourse or some type of accident (like a bike seat). The woman can have a small amount of bleeding, but not always. You are too young to worry about this now, but I believe in telling kids the truth about health issues before they hear something false from individuals their own age. Oh, and by the way it can hurt. It really depends on the person.

hahaha if ur 11 u shouldn't know srry

It means you lost your virginity.

the she just had sex...for the first time.so i hope that answers questions 1-3

It's like when a guy first has sex with a virgin girl, you know.... Ask you parents!

That's slang for when a girl loses her virginity.
it refers to breaking the hymen which happens when you have sex for the first time.

try it and see for yourself?! ha.

1. a cherry is a hymin
2. sometimes it pops when a girls has sex for the first time
3. probably

When youu pop a girls cherry you rip her hymen. This only happens the first time she has sex. Its completely normal if shes in pain and bleads. The hymen is skin in the vagina that protects it.

The cherry is meant to be your hymen, a layer of skin that is over the vagina..
When it 'pops' it breaks and most people don't even feel it..
So basically it's loosing your virginity :]

xx

Really?
1. A hymen. It's skin that indicates virginity.
2. A pee-pee or something gets stuck up there.
3. sometimes.

1. The hymen is the "cherry", its a patch of membrane that covers the external part of the vagina.

2. When it is penetrated, usually by sexual intercourse it breaks. This is called "popping the cherry"

3. It depends on the girl, but the general consensus is slight pain that goes away after several hours.

first a cherry is in ur vagina its filled with blood. a penis pops it during sex and most of the time it hurts. but it doesn't always pop the first few times. go get em tiger.

it refers to the hymen, it pops when a man penetrates it, it does not hurt but there will be blood

crude term for loss of virginity. don't use it.

Its when a girl looses her virginity people . Your cherry is basically your hymen, its a fold of mucous membrane which surrounds the external vaginal opening...it pops when you have sex and it can hurt but pain varies from person to person

It means that your hymen has broken. The hymen is the little piece of flesh that is a lil' ways inside the vagina. It "pops" when you have sex and sometimes when you do certain sports....Some people have thin ones or ones that dont completely cover and others have ones that are harder to break. The hymen is the most likely reason you would bleed after the first time you had sex unless you somehow cut or scratched yourself down there. It might hurt, it might not. Depends on the person.

youre too young to have sex
wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are only 11 you really don't need to know the answer to these questions you are way to young to be thinking about this stuff go play with your barbie dolls or whatever it is 11yr olds are doing today...worry about this when your older...

Its called a hymen(look it up)
it pops in many ways. mainly by sexual intercourse
not sure, but maybe depends on the person(I guess)

your 11 you shouldt know about that stuff...trust me dont get involved with stuff like that until at least 6 years

If your too young please don't try it! It is a horrible term for when a woman loses her virginity!

i agree w/everyone u r kindof young but u should know

"Popping the cherry" is a stupid phrase originally coined by vulgar little boys to describe the act of taking a girl's virginity. Vulgar little boys know almost nothing about the female anatomy, except that they want to put their penises into it. So this phrase is very inaccurate. But for some reason, the little girls now think this is an actual body part and a proper way of describing their own bodies.

There is no cherry. Nothing down there pops.

A girl has a little membrane at the entrance to her vagina. Primitive cultures used to believe this was a guarantee of her virginity, since it was usually torn for the first time during sex. All sorts of measures were taken to ensure that the hymen remained intact until marriage---woman were not permitted to ride a horse in the same way men do, for example, but had to ride sideways in a special saddle that permitted them to keep both legs on the same side of the horse ("side saddle").

In the modern age we know that the hymen is pretty meaningless. It can be broken through various non-sexual activities, so the absence of a hymen is not proof of sexual activity. And, if it is repeatedly stretched without breaking, it is no obstacle to sexual intercourse, so the presence of a hymen is not proof of virginity. Some women don't lose theirs until they deliver a baby. Some women are born without one.

There can be pain when the hymen ruptures, or it can be unnoticeable.
