Even after you are fairly regular, you can miss a month and it doesn't mean anything is wrong. Stress, weight loss or gain, medicines... all of these things and more can affect your period. It is good that you are so aware of your body's rhythms. Keep track and if you miss next month, let your mom know. You may want to mention it (kind of in passing) to her in the next week or so... If you are really worried, talk to her about it.... she probably went through the same thing when she was young. Now, if you are worried that she will think you have been having sex, you may want to talk to the school nurse first and see what her advice would be.

It sounds like you are just going through normal teenager stuff, and I wouldn't worry, but you need to do what makes you comfortable.

Good luck, honey.

EDIT
Oh, I just read another post, and if you are an athlete, sometimes it will mess up your cycle. See... lots of things affect it.

how old are u ? because it takes about 3 years fors a period to regulate

it takes your period awhile to get used to its cycle!
its perfectly normal!

You shouldn't be worrying at all. I missed mines way longer before. It'll coem maybe in 2 weeks or so. But don't worry. Once mines came 6 months later, but I ain't pregnant. :D

tell your mom
my mom told me it was normal
i would get it checked out by a doctor if i were u
unless you are basically just starting your period
mine happened about 1 year or 2 after i started it
and its back on track
i didnt have mine for a whole summer
then i bleed for about 2 months

Well, periods can be funny like that. Sometimes they will come later or earlier then your norm. If you don't get it by the end of the month, I would then talk to you mom about it and see what she thinks. Don't sweat it!

well am about 17 and i been having my period for about 3 years and guess what i get it between 3 to 8 weeks
it's really strange but i never worried about it and i told my mom n she was like what? but nothing serious i guess!

Every ones body goes through hormonal changes and maybe you are going through a change now and your cycle is going to change. Give it a few more days. I would still talk to your mom, she may have gone through the same thing at some point. I would hope that my daughter would come to me with any types of woman problems.(my daughter is almost 14)
