Do they know ....virginity...?!

Question: i was wondering if it is possible for a dr. to be able to tell if you are a virgin or not when you are getting a PAP examination? (when examining a girl) i know that the skin breaks and stuff but i heard that these days alot of times the skin is already broken from like a tampon or something...so if there is no trace of semen or anything is it possible for them to know? oh yeah and how long does it take for there to be no traces of semen?

Na don't worry... I am the only person that would know! Lol.

NO one can tell rather you are a virgin or not except yourself. Some old tradition says that if your hymen is broken then you are not a virgin anymore, but in fact many girls born with thin hymen. Their hymen can be broken even with simple activities like riding a bike or going up the stairs. You can acquire STD even without sex. There is no test out there that will detect whether you are a virgin or not. If you tell your doctor that you are a virgin, then he has to believe you. Hope this will help.

No they cant know really. And semen would be flushed out in a couple days

Typically the doctor cannot tell if you are a virgin or not physically. It is asked by most gynos that you not have sex within 48hrs of your exam because the semen could alter the results of a pap smear.

yes a DR. can tell if ur a virgin ...and semen can live inside of u till up to 5 days

No they can't tell. But who cares if they know? They can't tell your parents. Most states have laws regarding teens and reproduction issues. Your doctor should know if you are sexually active so that they can test you for STD's and such.

Apparently they can tell because if you're sexually active the vagina is bruised in spots that it wouldn't be if you were a virgin.

As for the hymen being ripped it can be ripped by sports such as horseback riding, gymnastics, etc so there's really no for sure way to tell.

In the end it's your doctor so be honest with them. They cannot give you proper medical attention and treatments unless they know the truth. They cannot tell anyone because it's private.

Do not have sex for at least 48 hours before the pap test even with a condom, do not do it because it can mess up your results.

i dont think they would be able to tell, it would be very difficult to tell.

I hope you are using a condom.
