Pads are so discusting I want to use tampons. Help?!

Question: Okay I'm 14 and had my period since I was 11 so I'm not to young and I'm use to my period so you don't need to be like you should wait or whatever.
Right now I have playtex sport but I can't get it right. It goes about half way in. I push the little thing all the way and don't stop. It's not that I'm nervous (anymore) because I've been trying to get it in for the last few months.
I don't know if it's me not doing it right or is it just to big or something.
Should I use slender tampons?
What do you think the easiest tampons would be to use?

use the tampax pearl junior lites
there really small and have been proven to really work
hope it helps

Try Tampax Compak Minis - they're slimmer, and the applicators are plastic so they are a bit easier to slide in. Once you've got used to them you should be able to use the regulars or supers.
Maybe try a different position as well - I found one foot up on the toilet seat the best one to start with!
Good luck!

well, what size are you using now?
if you're using super or regular then i'd say yes, use slender until you're more used to them

i use playtex gentle glide they feel much better

You probably still have a hymen that needs to be broken or stretched, and that is probably what is stopping it, I am 12 and I only use tampons, and I never had a hymen, some girls just dont get them, Im one of them, so you should try slender or lites.

i wouldn't use tampons if i were u id wait. ppl say that u shouldn't use tampons at this age because you vagina is to narrow and sensitive even the slender ones can damage u

you arent pushing it in far enough..just keep pushing it until you feel it all the way in and then push it out of the applicator...generally its easier if you have had sex before because you know its inserted all the way. its gonna seem ike you are pushing it in really far but its ok...make sure you are relaxed i always it on the toilet or stand with one foot on the toilet. also i like tampax pearl cardboard applicators are kinda hard to use..pearl are plastic...good luck hope this helps hon..i know i dont like wearing diapers (pads) either

yea..slowly push it with a lubrication..very slowly..
if u wanna keep ur maidenhead so pls stop this game cause it will break it..
this game is really harmful for the body..

I had the same problem as you did when I was your age; my advice is NOT to use tampons with applicators -- supposedly they are suppose to make inserting the tampon in "easier" for you, but I feel like it just misguided me if anything, because it is slipping the tampon inside your vagina at its own rate and not at a rate you feel comfortable with. I had the best success with tampons called "OB" (it's a brands name like Playtex) they are tampons that DON'T come with applicators so you insert the tampon in yourself using your fingers. Also, you might want to know exactly where your hole is- that's probably causing the problem of not going all the way up, you're probably not inserting it in the hole. Your hole is going to be in the back (not in the front like you'd think) it'll be in the back near your anus. Keep searching with your fingers/hands. Happy Trails
