Vaginal Infection???????!
Question: OK,so here's the deal, my mom sits down with me and me little sis,Katlyn(whose 11 and i am12) and gave us "the talk"(i reli don't know why she gave us "the talk" cuz we've heard it a MILLION times) When my mom got to the "vaginal infection" part, my sis goes" Can your vagina be infected if you haven't had your periond yet but you get the vaginal discharge thingy(she actually said"thingy")?" my mom then stares blankly and turns to me.I,did not know wut to tell her and know i am asking u ppls. to help answer this question:" can your vagina be infected if you haven't had your period,but you get the vaginal discharge thing?"

mmm...the discharge is normal..it's a mucus secreyte by the glands...and yes it can happen...so hygiene is important...just tell your sister this "Hygiene!"
vaginal discharge isn't always for infections.
it's probably just getting rid of buildup. nothing to worry about
if she hasnt had sex then i dont think infection is anything to worry about.who knows she may be getting ready to have a period.
You can have discharge with no infection. Always go to your doctor and have it checked if it is abnormal for you.
