Girlie question, re..monthly issues and expense?!
Question: Have you girls noticed that the price of sanitary protection has hiked up again. We used to be able to buy a packet of maybe 12/14 for aroung 99p, but these are now hard to come by.These items are not luxury items, and this price increase is definetly recent.

They should be free considering the government dishes out free methadone, alcohol, condoms, boob jobs etc. etc.

I'm from Australia the government put a goods and services tax on our female products! apparently they are not a necessity! clearly it was a male who passed that one

You also get what you pay for with these products, the cheaper the price, the cheaper the quality !!

Buy asda or sainsburys own brands, they are just the same . I have said for years they should be free!
I buy in bulk when they are on offer. they don't go off so just stock up. super markets often have buy one get one free offers on certain brands.

I try to buy in bulk when they are on sale or theres 2 for 1 offers, even that way works out expensive though. Its not right how we have to pay for something we need as a day to day thing. We need them for hygiene and protection reasons and its not exactly our fault we have periods ... im sure if most of us had the choice ... we'd rather do without, but thats not the way life works. Surely we should be able to have some funded on the NHS, even if we are give some kind of discount for them .... anything would help. Before long we're going to be paying
