Question: My friend tried pot for the first time on st patties day... only had 2 hits but the one wasnt taken right anyways... do you think it will be spotted on a drug test for a new job that was taken Yesterday? It was 4 days but this person doesnt smoke it regularly or anything at all.. Please help me out i have never done this so i dont know anything about it..

It depends on the type of test that was given to your friend. Marijuana can stay in your system for a few weeks, but it depends on a few factors, including the potency of the marijuana, how much you smoked, your body type and metabolism, how often you smoke, what time of day it was when you smoked, and the acidity of your urine (for urine tests). Even if you only took two hits, it could still show up on a drug test. Chemically speaking, THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the active chemical in marijuana) is readily absorbed by fatty tissues in various organs. Generally, traces (metabolites) of THC can be detected by standard urine testing methods several days after a smoking session. However, in heavy, chronic users, traces can sometimes be detected for weeks after the use of marijuana has ceased.
Maybe, maybe not. Such a small amount...so long as the person drank a good bit of water that day and had urinated a few times before the drug test, he/she will probably pass.

i know many people who had lost thier jobs due to pot.
also pot is a gateway drug which means if you do pot then your more likely to get hooked on other more dangerous drugs.
and yes MJ stays in your system for 30 days so i would say your jobless!!!
