Im almost 21 years old, has my body started to change since I have been getting !

Question: I know that womans bodies change as they get older, but do they change alot between the ages of 17-21? Is their a site where can i read about the changes of a womans figure and changes we go through? I was shocked when I found out I bought a pair of pants when I was 18 but couldn't fit in them at 21. I don't notice myself getting fatter so I know I'm not fat. But this is what brought up a few of these questions.

Yes they can. You may not notice it because it is usually very subtle but they do. I would google the information myself. But I know that womens bodies grow and change until I think ages 21-23. After age 18 you do gain weight and your hips can get a little bigger. If your just about to get your period that can make you bloated so it depends on when and how th pants don't fit. I noticed my waist slimmed and my boobs got bigger after high school and if I have kids my body will change again. Hope that helps

Maybe you're hips are getting wider? I dunno..

yes

We dont really stop growing or developing till we are in our mid 20's and everyone is different so if you notice that your hips have widened, your taller or your breasts have grown its all totally normal and nothing to do with weight gain. It really depends on the person but normally there is not a lot of change that takes place between the ages of 17-21 except prehaps for weight gain. Most females in this age range tend to put on a bit of weight. I dont know if there is any biological evidence to support that but i think its due to the fact that you keep the same eating habits from your teenage years. As you get older your body requires less kilojules because your body does not require as much energy. Women tend to gain weight on the breast area, hips, thighs, stomachs and tricep area. Maybe review your diet or if your not already, begin excercising.

when you get to the age of child bearing your body really starts changing...your hips get wider and but bigger and firmer... thats probably why you cant fit those jeans...dont necessarily mean your getting fatter...you could just be filling out

i bought some really nice tops when i was about 18 19 they were a bit big for me and i was always adjusting the straps or moving the top around to make it sit properly. im 23 now and the same tops fit perfectly even though i weigh the same as i did then.(also my hips have widened slightly) i did not notice the change in my body either until i was going out one night and tried one of the tops on. not sure about what sites to try though.
