Putting in a tampon shouldn't hurt. Just follow the instructions on the box. Try lying down while inserting the tampon.

If this is your first time using a tampon and you are young, I would suggest starting with a "slim fit" tampon. Playtex gentle glide is the most comfortable. Regular-sized, deodorant-free tampons are best, in my opinion.

When you are wearing the tampon, you should not be able to feel it after its inserted. If you feel it or if it hurts, it means you have inserted in incorrectly. Also, remember to change your tampon frequently (every 4-6 hours) and every time you use the bathroom. Otherwise you risk exposing yourself to infection or TSS.

No. How strong is your flow? Go with the super heavy just to be safe.

omg i used to be so scared. but after a while you get used to it.

NO it DOES NOT hurt. You cant even feel it.

how old are you...usually......12-14 or 15.. light

16-19 regular or heavy

(if you are small and skinny) most likly regular. :p

GOOD LUCK!

It shouldn't hurt, if it hurts, your doing it wrong....they are a little tricky to get at first, takes a few times. You will know you have it right because you wont be able to feel it at all. the size depends on your flow, its usually super on a the first few days, regular in the middle and light towards the end. You can buy a multi pak from tampax, its always easiest.

if you insert a tampon correctly it will not hurt.
as for the type, it all depends on your flow that day,

You should try the easy glide playtex or the pearl tampax because they will slide in easy. When you have it in you shouldn't be able to feel it. The error most girls make if they have never used before is that they don't insert it far enough. As for which type, you should go with how heavy you are flowing. Good luck! : )

at first it hurts but you get used to it
im 14 and i use super plus

I was so scared the first time. I have a pool so I really needed to wear one,so I ended up getting my mom to do it.

It doesnt hurt unless your putting it in right.

Get Regular absorbency ones.

Good luck!

At first, begin off with a light days Tampax Pearl. go in to the bath room and insert the plastic part as far into your vagina as you can. then you push the end part into the bigger part slowly and push it as far in as you can. then remove the plastic part. if you dont put the plastic part in side of you , the tampon will be uncomfortable, but it shouldnt hurt. after about1 period you should move up to the regular tampons because you will be comfortable with the applicator in your vagina.
sooo
start of with the light days and go on from there.

good luck

Depends..

When I first started using them they really hurt and were very uncomfortable for me.. then I started using them more frequently and it didn't hurt anymore.

Hope that helps!
