Keep a sanitary napkin in your purse, because you will likely be needing it soon. Unfortunately no one can say for sure when it will strike! Not even your doc. Sometimes a girl can be 17+ before getting hers, so just be prepared, because chances are, you will get it soon, and you would probably feel better about the whole thing if you knew you were suplied for the occasion!

Have your mom or a family member take you to a gynocologist. It's better to get a doctor's opinion and check for a yeast infection (or something else). He/she will be able to give advice. It doesn't hurt.....and you'll have to go annually anyway.
Ya carry around a pantyliner or a pad just in case. They dont usually start out heavy.
