Question: im 12 and i dont have my period ,but my friend does and she said if there is hair *there* then you wil get it soon.i have hair *there* and sometimes when i am playing my comp i have a short pain below but it goes away.almost everyday i have a clear thing on my underwear but its not coming everyday anymore

this might mean you may be getting it soon. but its okay if you don't some girls don't get it till they are 17.. i got mine when i was 13. when something brownish first comes out.. then thats when you first get your period.
Just because your friend has had her period doesn't mean that you will have your period aswell. You are both different. Ask your mum when she got hers. If she says around when she was 13 then that will probably be the same time as yours. Don't be jealosu of her. You will start your period soon aswell, just slow down. It will happen soon :)
I started mine when I was 12 but my friend only started when she was 14!! It's different for everyone! I found that it depends on your body weight, my friend was very slim and I was more round, so that could have had an effect but please don't worry to much okay :) it will all happen when your body is ready for it. :) Just relax and enjoy not having it yet!!
Every girl around your age who hasn't gotten her period worries that it should have happened, but you don't need to stress about this. The average age to get your period is 12.5, but it's normal not to have it up to the age of 15. Your period can come years after you get hair down there. I believe I got hair there when I was like 8 or 9, but didn't start my period until I was almost 13. BTW, don't be jealous of your friend because periods absolutely SUCK!

Ok, first of all..I hope your in no rush!! Its not a very pleasant thing to go through. Although, it is a sign of "becoming a women" its not exactly lovely. Lol..
