If I don't menstruate do I ovulate?!

Question: I have really irregular periods. I menstruate maybe once a year. But I was just wondering about ovulating. And if I do how do I know when? If anyone has any sites or knowledge to share I would appreciate it!

There is no menstruation without ovulation, and people with irregular periods don't ovulate regularly. Please see your gynecologist for necessary examination and advice.

If you only menstruate once a year, you may or may not, ovulate once a year.

Are you anorexic? If you are, that messes up everything.

I would suggest the pill and a decent diet of proteins and veggies. I would also recommend the use of condoms, for many, many reasons.

I would also encourage you to talk to your mother. I gladly helped my daughter secure birth control, primarily for her vomit-inducing cramps. I remembered how bad they were, gave her a heat pad and made sure she could sleep.

Sometimes, it's just good to have someone look at you, and know you need TLC.

No, it's good though cos i know if i am going to miss my period lol, cos i didn't ovulate
