GROSS question...pee soaked underwear????!

Question: yuck yuck yuck...ok for the past couple days (ever since i started my period for the month) i'll go pee and then like 2 hours later or whenever i go again i'll notice that my underwear is soaked in pee! and it smells really bad and i can even smell it when i have pants on too! i've always had a little wetness throughout the day, not too big of a deal, but this is different. i know its pee because of the smell (it STINKS) and there is no cottage cheese discharge or any of that. just pee. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!?!?!!? its GROSS and embarassing!!!

It sounds like you have incontinence. I don't know your age, but this can happen with younger women as well as older. It can also happen with either pelvic surgery or an injury to the pelvic or bladder area. You should see your doctor ASAP. They do have treatments that can help. They'll show you how to do kegal exercises to strengthen the muscle that is responsible for incontinence. And it might get better or may not. It depends on a lot of factors but the top factor is whether you will take the time to do your kegal exercises every day. In the meantime wear a pad or panti liner depending on how bad the incontinence is.

I'm not sure why that is happening. But you can wear a panty liner and change it throughout the day. I wear one sometimes just because of moisture.

GO TO THE DR NOT NORMAL

You need to see a Gynecologist about this for a consult. If this is incontinence, there is prescription medication you can take. If that doesn't work, you may be referred to a Urologist to have bladder surgery. There could be something wrong with your bladder that is causing the problem.

Good luck to you!
