Ectopic Pregnancy and bleeding?!
Question: I have and ectopic pregnancy and had the methotrexate shot about a week ago. I was not bleeding until yesterday, when I started bleeding. Now I am using like 4-6 pads a day with some cramping. The thing I am confused about is....I normally am supposed to get my period about now.... and I have shoulder pain, but I cant tell if I just have sore muscles and slept wrong.. or if it could be a sign of internal bleeding... any ideas of what this could be? Also.. Its like a brighter red color with little blood clots when I wipe.

i'm going through the same thing now except i had surgery. i started to bleed a lot that same day and that was on the 14th of this month & still bleeding lighter. i was told that bleeding and cramping after an ectopic is normal even clots. i'm not sure about shoulder pains i never got that. this sounds normal to me, but if you're concerned you should go check with your doctor ASAP or visit the ER just to be sure.

I dealt with the same thing a while back, and it all sounds normal. I hope your hormone level goes down..if not, you might get a 2nd set of shots.
I think you should get your self to the hospital fast, you sound
like you're having a miscarriage.
