I am really depressed.?!


Question: I am in Virginia and I was just hanging out with my cousins and they are anorexic looking but they are not, I mean they eat ALOT. I always get deppressed around them becuase I am, in my opinion fat. I am like 5' 3" - 5' 4" and 130 pounds and I am suppose to be 5' 6" when I am an adult, since I am only 13. How much skinnier can you get with 2 inches? I have been trying to loose weight but I can't. I have really bad hair, bad skin, and I am really ugly (I think). I have already started my period. What should I do? What can I do?

You are just right at 5'4" 130 lbs at 13 yoa. For the other stuff, do this:

Get up 30 minutes earlier each morning and stretch for 15 minutes and then walk for 30 minutes. This will get your system burning calories and start the day better. Take a good shower and use a soft cleanser on your face. Put on moisteriser and minimal makeup.

For breakfast, make sure nothing you each has refined sugar. If you eat cereal, make it the unsweetened kind - you will learn to like not having sugar. Eat at least two servings of fruit - OJ and a banana or apple.

Pack your lunch - do not eat cafeteria food - it's too processed and will ruin your skin. If you have to eat it, stick to the salad bar and try to have olive oil for your dressing - excellent for your hair. Try to eat at least one fruit and two is better. Absolute no soda pop - not even diet. That stuff ruins your skin.

Dinner - Eat 3 servings of vegetables and make sure your meat portion is no more than 4 ounces. More fruit. After dinner, walk again but this time make it a social walk. Take someone with you and talk a lot.

Take another quick shower before bed. Your body is cranking out oils and you'll need to bath more often than an adult. Brush your hair 100 strokes and put on lotion everywhere. Make sure your pillow case is clean - in fact, change it every day - more work, but you'll see results right away.

Get to bed early - you need 8 - 9 hours of sleep every night.

Do this for 30 days and then reassess how you feel about yourself. If you like the changes, continue.

im sure you're not ugly or anything. everyone is beautiful. Just wear makeup and get a cute hairstyle. hit the gym 3 times a week. go running and have fun while doing it,

Well, maybe your cousins genetics are different than yours, a fast metabolism could be why they are skinny. At 5"3 & 130 you are a FAR cry from fat, matter of fact that is a perfectly normal weight for your height. Your body is growing still, so you will go through spurts of putting on a little weight right before you grow again. Why at 13 are you trying to lose weight? Unless you are obese, you should be thinking about teenager things, not your weight.

It sounds more like you have a problem with self-esteem than depression. 5'3 or 5'4 and 130 is far from overweight, and you don't need to lose weight at all, in fact, it might cause problems if you lose too much weight.
P.S. If your friends/family are telling you you're overweight, don't listen to them

first you start by graving magazine and learning tricks on how to do your hair and the skin find out what sounds that might help you being beautiful means taking care of yourself.So yes you should spend the 15 dollar creams and get your hair done and doing little stuff to yourself

You're not fat, maybe just have like a pouch, like me, and i think i am fat, but ppl tell me iam not, i just need to exercise more to get rid of it. I am like 5'4" or taller and weight almost 130 too
