I have two painful sores on my vagina, but my STD tests were negative?!

Question: I am 8 months pregnant. My belly is in the way so I cant see anything down there. I was tested for every STD several times this year. I tend to get a little paranoid, so I frequently have the tests done. They are always negative. I had the blood test for herpes twice & negative both times. I have not had sex at all since I became pregnant. Then a few days ago I felt a little pimple like thing which was sorta tender, so i kinda scratched or squeezed it. A very small amount of drainage came out, maybe fluid, maybe pus, kind of like when you pop a zit on your face. Then I felt another one about an inch away on the same side of my vagina lips. It was also small & painful like a zit, so i scratched it & it also poped some drainage. Now they are just painful & irritated. What could they be, since the blood test for herpes was negative? I did not have sex with anyone. My underwear are so tight uncomfortable since I gained 50 lbs. and the elastic are always rubbing there. Very irritating

Imma guy and I have been to the doctor twice for things I have thought were STD's one was being allergic to lubricant on condoms which gave my a couple litte white bumps. Second time I got a couple bumps and the doctor told me they were infected hair folicles. I guess imma paranoid person as well but thats a good thing. What you are describing sounds like infected hair folicles, its no biggie, this happens to everybody from time to time..........

go to the doctor!!!

i think you answered your own question with the comment about tight undies. chances are you've got either a plugged pore or an ingrown hair due to the elastic rubbing and/or not enough air circulation to your skin because of the underwear being tight.

don't wear such tight undies, might just be pimples.

They could be ingrown hair follicles, or folliculitis. STOP wearing tight underwear and invest in some good fitting cotton panties to wick away moisture and bacteria. You might want to bring it up to your doctor because he/she may prescribe ointment or have to remove the ingrown hair. They are sore now because they're probably more infected now that the open sore is exposed to your natural bacteria.

Go to the dr and tell him you have to have some answers.. .and be sure to tell him to check your blood sugar levels they can cause diabetic ulcers like that there if you are gest diabetic ... you need to go asap!

It may very well be a zit caused by wearing tight clothing. Treat the sores like you would a zit.

try wearing looser cotton underwear, something breathable. start washing with a tea tree liquid soap, made for shower, with a washcloth in the irritated area. there are skin cells all over the place down there, sometime there are ingrown hairs and sometimes clogged pores that will develop into a pimple like bump. start washing with a washcloth and the tea tree soap, bar soap would be ok too actually. i it feels too strong or starts to irritate, discontinue. you can also hold a warm wash cloth over the area so help open the pores and promote healing. don't use any kind of feminine sprays.

good luck.

It sounds like you MAY have a couple of Bartholin's Cysts. That's normal. Not common--but still very normal--especially during pregnancy. (doctors won't tell you this because most are too lazy to do the research, and too stupid to figure it out.) Get some antibiotics, and you should be fine.

Here's a website I found about it:
Good Luck, Lady!
