Period Problems Still - Help Please?!

Question: I've asked this question before, but things have changed a bit, so I need to update it. I've basically had my period for 2 months straight. It wasn't normal flow, just light where only a liner was needed. During this time I was sick for 2 weeks, then put on antibiotics for 10 days. I had blood work done, and hormones are fine. Pelvic Ultrasound was also fine.
Well, yesterday I finally started bleeding heavy enough to have to use a tampon, and it's been heavy all day today. Had normal cramps, but extra blood clots which I think was from basically 2 months of no normal period where the lining leaves the system.
Has anyone else ever had this or have any idea what's going on?
I do go back to the doctor on the 1st, but would like some info and opinions now.

I'm glad that you have an appt on the 1st, it will be good to hear what comes of that.

The pelvic ultrasound being "fine" is also good news, I assume that this all means that nobody sees any immediate evidence of ovarian issues. I'd be interested in knowing exactly which hormones were tested and/or what the values were. At what point in your cycle, or whatever is or used to be your cycle, were these bloods collected? Do you know if any cancer marker blood testings were done?

I really try not to diagnose or rush to judgment on "internet" patients, so to speak. It's really not a good practice. But my first thought is that you may be headed for a D&C, Masqued. I suspect that there are issues with the endometrial lining of your uterus, that's perhaps what is causing your menorrhagia. (continual period)

Feel free to let me know privately how this all progresses.
