not at all!
i may wake up at like 6am and need a changing, but generally i don't need to.

if you wear a heavy enough pad to bed you shouldn't have to.
also when i'm going really heavy, i just wear a tampon to bed and just make sure it's not too long before i change it again for precautions of TSS (toxic shock syndrome).

You're sleeping so you can't. I would just change it when you wake. Try tampons

Depend on how heavy or light your cycle is. I have never worn pads but change my tampon maybe once during the night during my second and third day.

just get a really long one
i find that if i wake up a lot to change it i get really grumpy the next day lol

you dont change. you sleep till the morning

use tampons @ night it's easier.

I dont change it at all when Im sleeping, I can't be bothered to. I usually use a more absorbant pad and it seems to work pretty well.

Just wear an over night one (they are longer than reg. ones) and just change it in the morning.

I change my pad right before I go to sleep. Then change it as soon as I wake up. OR if I wake up in the middle of the night I change it also.

if you must use pads
use the super thick over night ones
that wya you dont have to change often

or if you have heavy flows
then whenever you need to use the bathroom at night (pee. etc)
change it =)

Set your alarm for 6 o clock for a change.

If its really heavy, try using lots of toilet paper with it.

I don't. I put on the really thick pads like 1min before i go to bed. so it holds me through the night.

Oh yea, i wake up early in the morning like around 6:40 or 6:50

i will put on a pad before i go to sleep and when i wake up i will change it

No you do not, there are pads called, overnight, so when you get up you just change it. It is as simple as that!! And dont worry I just got mine like 2 months ago and it is fine! Just get the overnight ones!! And always is a good brand that carries overnight pads!

Okay -- no, you shouldn't have to change it that often. Get a check-up -- I had horrible bleeding and cramps and ended up getting a hysterectomy (but I already had my children so it was wonderful for me) but you may have endometriosis --- bad spelling maybe??? There are other options.

they make special overnight pads for sleeping in. if you don't have any, then don't worry about it tonight, you'll more than likely be fine - just change it as soon as you wake up. just make sure to get some overnights when you can!

i recommend tampons when you sleep. pads can get messy when you sleep because you move around and are not standing up.. they can often leak when you sleep. tampons move along with your body and i haven't had any leaks with them when i sleep. if you are scared of leaking during sleep but a higher absorbency in when you sleep.

I would just use a long one just as someone said previously and keep all night unless I wake up to use the bathroom, then I would change it.

ur supposed to change it every 4-8hrs but before you go to bed put a fresh one and when you wake up change it

.. umm I don't change my pad when I'm asleep, but I do like being clean. I change my pad before I go to bed & after I wake up.. and a couple times in between.

if your period is really heavy you might have to change the pad at least once but if its light you should be fine...oh and it also depends on what kind of pad your using if its a pretty thick pad you shouldnt have to change it very often but if its pretty thin you might have to get up a lot...i would try tampons

Yes,I change mine during the night.Your not supposed to use Tampons when your sleep. You're not supposed to use them because you don't know WHEN your going to wake up,and if it's in there too long, you may get TSS.So never use Tampons when your sleep. But I'm used to wakeing up in the middle of the night changing my pad.It doesn't even annoy me anymore 'cause I'm so used to it.!

hi
if your not too heavy you dont need to change your pad during the night, some woman change it because they have to.

nope. i change it when i get up. my period is really heavy tho and so it really is a pain in the *** but im not waking up every 3 hours!
