Only girls - breast question??!

Question: Hey im 13 and i used to be a little chubby, not overweight but just not skinny when i was 11-12 years old and around 46 kg(i was like 150) and my breasts were kind of big, well not exactly big but not small either...

i turned anorexic when i was 12 and a half and lost more than 10 kg and ofcoarse my periods were gone and breasts got much smaller.

now i gained some of the weight back im around 40.5-41 kg and 154 tall - my doctor told me its good, i might need one or two kilos more if my periods dont come back soon. my breast got much bigger and it became a little painful like it was before i got anorexic(my mom says its because its growing) but its still a bit smaller than before, will it grow bigger again?
is there a way to help it?

Hey! I'd say that it would grow back to the size it was before. But remember that you still have a lot of growing ahead of you to go. Pain in the breasts can also be a symptom of getting your period so maybe you are closer to getting your period again than you think. Also, because you are so light, carrying all that weight around on your breasts is probably putting a little stress on your back. The problem when you lose so much weight is that eventually your body turns to burning your muscles for fuel instead (resulting in muscle loss), so you are probably a lot weaker than you used to be too. This i say with relative experience, i've been anorexic.

It will take a long time for your body to recover from this. It is more than just putting weight back on - thats a start. Its about replenishing the body with essential vitamins and minerals you lost when you were anorexic and building back up the muscle you lost. And of course it is about having a realistic view of yourself - good self esteem, etc. The best thing you can do is just focus on getting healthy again and doing the best you can for your body. Follow your doctors advice, get good meals that are healthy for you and do a little exercise just to build up your muscles again. But take it slow, like i said it will take a while for your body to recover. I wish you the best and hope you continue to make progress in overcoming anorexia.

Keep eating and staying healthy and they should go back to normal size.

i think maybe you should be happy with being healthy and not worry too much about how big your breasts are
big breasts aren't really all that great (i'm a D cup)
its hard to exercise properly without expensive sports bras (all that bouncing hurts) and you can't go without a bra in cute tops (nipple slips aren't pretty)
be happy you're healthy and think about trying to help you like the healthy body you have

I actually believe because you were anorexic it might have stopped your process of going through puberty. Once you began to take care of your self and your body and get back healthy your body started to work properly. Your breast are only hurting because your thirteen and you are becoming a woman. However it could, not saying that it's true, but could be a possibility that your breast hurt more now that they have the opportunity to reproduce with out interruption. You not eating caused your system to stopped working properly and interrupted your growing. I'm sure that's all it, is. No doubt they are growing back that's why they are sore. Just go with the flow and stay healthy. Welcome to new health and woman hood.

my sister lost weight and her bust size was only 30A now... i dont think it will grow back. sorry.

most girls who are chubby find that when they lose weight they also lose the size of there breasts. in your case you became unhealthy and anerexic so it is great that you are becoming healthy again and starting to be a healthier weight. you breast will grow but to what you class as a normal size for you. i dont think they will get as big as they were. however your still young and yes they may continue to grow. i guess time will only tell.
i dont think you should worrry about the size just worry about getting healthy again
all the best
