Your hymen is at the entrance of the vagina, not inside you. It doesn't cover the entire entrance. A finger, or a tampon, or even a pelvic exam at the gynecologist doesn't necesarily break it. The hymen is elastic. It stretches. However, it can be torn, or stretched out to the point of no longer being an obstacle, by many forms of exercise, or by accident.

The only way to tell if you still have yours is to get a mirror and look.

Sounds like its gone.

sweety dont worry bout it. it might be there it might not. you might have broke it if you ever used a tampon or even during exersise.

it cld still be intact. u can check it using a mirror, its just on the outside, a very thin membrane, half moon kind, joined towards ur backend side.

please try to not let such things happen again.
i wld suggest u wait until marriage

well hymen are many kinds!
some are hard to break!
go check a doctor u might still have it

Your hymen is probably still intact. A penis is a lot bigger around than a finger or a tampon. If you want to stretch your hymen to make it easier to have sex the first time, start by inserting one finger, then two, then three. If it starts to feel tight on two or three, you need to stretch it very gently so it doesn't hurt. And please use birth control and disease control when you have sex. Don't take any chances.

Actually, a lot of people don't know it, but there are A LOT of females who are born without a hymen at all and never develop one. They bring the statistics at around 40%, which is massive when you think about the significance and perceived 'importance' having an intact hymen means!

And then for the 60% that are born with a hymen, another massive percentage (around 80%) break it before sexual intercourse (Exercise, horseriding, using a tampon, sometimes it just breaks on its own without any real vigorous activity at all!)

So, as you can probably see, most females don't even have a hymen at all on their first sexual experience, and chances are you were either one of the people born without one, or have broken it through some sort of menial activity. Its absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, its just a fact of life!

The hymen is just a membrane partially covering the opening but there is still an opening so it's quite possible to get a finger in and still have an intact hymen. Some girls use tampons and are fingered etc. but then their hymen breaks when they have sex - it's to do with how big the object is not how far or anything. So it's possible your boyfriend could have fingered you and your hymen is still intact. However it is common for it to break during childhood for women so it might not be.
