Until What Age Can Females Grow?!

Question: I thought at my age (16) I'd be done, but I just hit a growth spurt and went from 5'7'' to 5'8''. Could I still grow?

one time a docter told me that you usually grow 3-4 years after your period occerurs regularly. I know that sounds weird, haha. But that's what the docter said. That docter did creep me out though. so, you could still grow, it just depends on certain things. like what I just told you plus if you're parents are tall =]

most people stop at age 16, but that was probably your last growth spurt.

Enjoy being 5'8".

Most people stop growing around age 16, but it depends upon you're developmental schedule. For instance, if you don't hit puberty until 14, then you may keep growing longer than average. On the other hand, girls who get their period at 8 may be done growing at 14.

However, assuming your growth paterns are near-normal, that was probably your last growth spurt.

As I understand it most people would keep growing into their middle or later 20's. I don't know if some people would continue growing afterwards, but I suppose it's indeed possible.
