They are not that bad. I didn't have any side affects at all regarding my cycle or orgasms. The only thing is that the medication they give you for afterwards is really strong and made me really sick. They also offer counseling and everything if you need it. It is not a bad process, don't let people scare you. Do what you need to do. Regardless of what Pro Life people say, it is a totally safe medical procedure between you and your physician.
Just the guilt for the rest of your life -- yeah, I had one over 20 years ago.....and I'm really sorry I did.
You should be aware of that fact that abortion is murder and if you go ahead with it, you'll never get over it.
***If you ARE pregnant, please consider giving the baby up for adoption since you do love children. Give that baby a chance at life.

it can affect your cycle but not orgasams i had an abortion then went onto have two children when i was ready and for me sex got better after each child.
well dear dont borrow from tomorrows problems find out if your pregnant first! Should not affect orgasms though.

then psycologically it could affect them but not physically
--you should be aware of many birthcontrol methods available so you dont have to go thru this again

Awe this is so sad, don't have an abortion....it wasn't the baby's fault!!!!
The only physical changes I have had since I've had an abortion is that my menstrual cramps are not as bad since. It doesn't affect your cycle or orgasms. Just be sure to go a good clinic or doctor. And make sure this is something you really want to do because psychologically it can have major affects on you. I didn't think about it much at the time but now that my life is a little different, I can't help but to think about what might have been. Just make sure that you're making the right decision. Oh, and take care of yourself afterwards and follow the doctor's orders.

This is something that will be with you for the rest of your life. I used to be against abortion 100% then it happen to me. To this day I regret ever getting pregnant and having that abortion. However, I also know this was the right choice for me.
I did not go to a clinic as they can be very dangerous. Mine was done by my OBGYN in a hospital.
I dont know how old you are but this is an operation and it will take you some time to recover. My cycles are normal and sex is still the same.
