Just got period and confused?!
Question: so i just asked a question but the answers confused me and helped me.>question asked>So I just got my period today again!! I am on birth control and have been for the past few years and yeah I missed like 2 pills before like a wk ago and started spotting kinda and then I started my pills again and it went away. Now i just missed 2 more and just got it again today! I dont know if its cause I missed those pills or if its cause I switched pill brands or what?? Could I be pregnant?? Is this normal?? And no I dont have STDs so that cant be it. And I am not supposed to start my period for another week or so. I am just so confused and REALLY REALLY worried! any advice/help would be appreciated! thanks!
thanx 4 the advice but now i need to know should i NOT finish this pack and wait for my period to end or just finish the pack? i have 1 wk of non sugar pills left and if i DO finish it should i get my period again?or what?again lol im confused ao anything will help! thanks!!

I say finnish the pack. if you miss pills you can start your period and then start it again at the end of the month. (Hoped that made sense) anyway, it is not very good to miss so many pills so you need to keep up with it and try not to miss any at all. I do not think you are pregnant. that is just how the pills work, when they are not in your system their is nothing controling when you start your period. I would read up on birth control if I were you. It is important to know what you are doing. Hope I helped.

Any time you miss your pills, obviously you risk becoming pregnant, and it can also mess with your period. I don't know how many you've missed in the same month, but if you've missed 2 or more, more than one time, you should call your local clinic or your own gyno to get the right answer. I do believe that you would need to start a new pack, but as I said, I don't know how many you've missed in a specific time frame. Definitely call and find out. Better safe than sorry!
See your Dr. and don't miss taking the pills again. If you keep forgetting them you might want another form of BC. 3 month shot or patch.
When you keep yo yo ing (keep missing and then taking the pills) your hormone levels fluctuate and you will have break through bleeding. Remember the BC pills are low dose hormones.
