Bc; the pill?!

Question: my friend just started taking the pill; she's gotten sick a bunch of times since; its only been a day since she started...
is this normal?
is it ok to take over the counter meds like tylenol or advil for this? will they effect the pill's effectiveness?

Your friend's problem might be unrelated to the pill. Stomach bugs are going around still, so it could be that. Usually nausea doesn't start until the pill has been in your system for at least a few days.

Tylenol and Advil are both fine to take with the pill. If you have any questions about any other specific medicines effect on the pill, just call up the pharmacist and ask; pharmacists are great at answering these kinds of questions.

I hope she feels better soon!

idk...
but she shouldnt be puking...
@ least i dont think she should

Since she has only been on it for a day it is hard to say. It is possible that it is making her sick or maybe she just has the stomach flu or something. I have a very rough time with my birth control. It makes me sick a lot and i have been on it for 4 years. I am sure her body is just trying to get used to it.
