Its OK. i got put on one to not to long ago. It really doesn't do anything. I actually lost a little weight but not much. It just makes your period lighter and shorter. Just don't forget to take it or everything messes up and your period it really heavy..

idk but all bc pills made me sick so i switched to the nuvaring, another form of birth control, u insert it vaginally, and leave it there for 3 weeks, then u take it out and have ur period, after one week replace it with another one. and so far and so forth,
it is great for a person who forgets stuff, or just doesnt have time.
they just really ask u questions and thats about it.

First of all... is your mom putting you on the pill or do you want to be on the pill? Because if you don't want to be there is no way she can force you... Anyways, if you actually want to be on the pill, for whatever reason.. Its different for every doctor. From what I've heard, there's usually no exam necessary - for me it was just questions and such. Don't listen to anyone that tells you the pill wont make you gain weight because it definitely does. I actually lost weight at first, about three pounds but when I went on the pill and gained about ten pounds in a year. I also went up a cup size, but I definitely gained weight. People told me it was just my body "becoming more womanly" and it would happen even if I wasn't on the pill but I think that is a load of crap. But in reality, gaining ten pounds is a lot better than getting pregnant and gaining a lot more than that. I think the best pill for young girls is Ortho tri cyclen lo, but you and your doctor will determine that better than anyone else can. Good luck.
