Personally, I LOVE Aleve (or the generic version). I don't know why it works so well, but I've been thrilled with it ever since a friend recommended it.

Generally, all I do is keep a tampon in my bag. I'd be smarter to carry a couple of pain-med tablets, but the tampon's really all I need if my period catches me by surprise.

The best cure for cramps is prevention, good diet and lifestyle can prevent cramps all together, but when you do get cramps the best cure is rasberry leaf tea to stop the cramps, and clary sage oil rubbed neat into your stomach as a pain killer (much better than taking painkillers, and without the side-effects).

I don't get cramps any more since I started activly preventing them, for my just increasing magnesium, calcium, potassium, zinc, and B vitamins helps. In short, I take a good multivitamin to make sure my body has all it needs for menstruatioon a few weeks before my period is due. I also take kelp tablets to help with my super-heavy flow too.

I don't have a period kit, I use a menstrual cup (specifically a Mooncup - http://www.mooncup.co.uk ) so as they can be inserted a few days before your period is due and you can leave them in for up to 12 hours at a time you don't need to carry anything with you.

Edit:
Okay so you won't explain what you are trying to say, so sorry but again I have to say that I have no idea what you are talking about, I just answered your questions as you asked - that's what this web site is for.

As for medicines you can use tylenol, midol or pamrin, basically any kind of pain reliever. I personnally prefere tylenol but i really dont cramp that often. although if you dont want to take any medicines you can excerise, lay on a heating pad, or take a bath to help ease the pain from cramps. I have never heard of a period pack, but if i were you I'd keep pantiliners, pads or tampons in it along with the pain reliever of your choice.
Good luck

well u can try midol..and wat i have in my period kit is,...pads,tampons,pantyliners...wipes..... a extra pair of underwear (black) and a pair of black sweat pants...and i keep it in my car or in a little messenger bag

just starting i see......anyway I use Midol for the cramps, if I don't they are really bad, so I know it works. I use pads, and that is pretty much the only thing in my "period kit" but i keep them in a zip-up compartment in my purse. Oh, and you might want to have a sweatshirt or something similar to wrap around your waist in case it gets on your pants...good luck

Midol Menstrual Complete! When your period starts, even if you don't feel any cramps yet, take it right away, because iif you take it after you get cramps, it won't help. At least that's what happens to me. Also take it as soon as you get up in the morning because then your muscles that cramp up are still relaxed. I don't really keep a period kit. I put a few pads in the inner pocket of my purse along with a sheet of Midol tabs. At home I keep a stock of pads/tampons in the bathroom closet and a bottl of Midol in the medicine cabinet.

The old favourite-an aspirin and hot water bottle! does the trick. Or try a lovely long hot bath, it eases the muscles. You could also go on the pill, they help so much with pains and my pill (cerazette) even stops your periods altogether! And chocolate!!! its the one time of month your allowed to eat it and not feel guilty!

Period Kit- Just keep a few aspirin, either a tampon or pad (depends on your preference) and a spare change of undies in an inside handbag or coat pocket. Sorted!

Birth control pills worked wonders for me. I had extremely bad cramps where I would miss work one day a month. After a few months on the pill my periods were much lighter and the cramping was minimal. Before that I used aleve, which is the only thing that worked for me. You can also get a prescription for noproxen, which essentially is aleve, but stronger. As far as a period kit, I would keep a pad tucked in my purse. At home I kept a bag of pads, pantyliners, and aleve in the medicine cabinet. I also used those small heating pads (handwarmers). They are small packets of material that when you shake it, it heats up for several hours. I would tuck these in the front of my pants for cramping. It helped a lot.
