shaving int he same directions as the hair grows. opposite then normal shaving. also try COOCHY its is the best shaving cream. i have no bumps and it causing the hair to get lighter and less course, you can also use this for all shaving needs. its a little pricey but its worth it, i have had my bottle for over 18 months, you can get it from www.pureromance.com

dont use a razer.. it will rash.. u can use a haircut mechine.. it will clear the hair but dont live rash or dont disturb the beauty too.. :)

are you allergic to depilitory creams?.. i hear they work pretty well.. also make sure you don't dry shave because it causes more ingrown hairs and irritated bumps to come up.. i shave in the shower where the warm water softens the hair up a bit and I use Dove moisturizing soap as a sort of shaving cream.. it definitely helps with the bikini region.. i've never gotten waxed before though.. i want to but am afraid of the pain.... (ouch!)

it alwasy helps to change your razor, a brand new fresh one makes a nice clear shave, bumpless, and not so painfull.. the shave last a little longer also..

if you have sensitive skin, shaving is out. you might want to try one of the creams that dissolves hair, but if you are really sensitive, you may have to settle for a close trim. i've read good things about bliss wax, supposed to be excellent for sensitive skin. if you just trim and use deep conditioner to make the hair really soft it can be nice.
