Use of scented tampons...similar symptoms to that of TSS?!
Question: the first time i ever used a tampon, and it was scented, i got a severe stomach ache instantly. and also i felt light headed and warm. I've read about TSS and symptoms are similar but mine were instantly... idk what to think.. i really need to know what it might be though because tampon use wouldbe very helpful with summer coming up.. thanks so much..

Sounds like you're allergic to the scent. I don't use scented pads, but I made the mistake of getting scented pantiliners once and they gave me a wicked rash and swelling. You shouldn't need a scented tampon, because it shouldn't smell as long as you're keeping clean. Try a regular one and see. My guess is on an allergy.
If the symptoms went away and haven't come back, chances are it's not TSS. TSS usually hangs around and is almost immediately serious. You should be fine using tampons but make sure your mom knows about how you feel. She can help you decide whether or not to see a doctor.
maybe you are allergic to the scent. i am, and something similr happened to me. i was at sleepaway camp too...
