I never had one. I had an imcomplete miscarriage so they had to do the same procedure though. They put you under general anesthetic. Then you're legs go in stirrups. They chemically dilate your cervix to open it up. Then they vacuum out all the "products of conception" (that's what they call it) and scrape out the uterus. You wake up feeling like you've got a hangover and your hips are sore from being up in the stirrups.

no i never had one. yes it hurts, if not physically... mentally and emotionally. they murder the baby various way....all of which are horrible.

they use some tools and they squish the baby's brain inside ur tummy. my friend's friend is an abortion doctor and she said that is how she does it.
okay. what they do is put you to sleep or give you something for the pain, and if you are less than 8 weeks or so, they use a vaccumm type of machine to suck the tissue out. if you are greater than 8 weeks, they take a metal instrument, dialate your cervix, and stick the instrument inside you and scrape out what is attached. sounds greusome, doesnt it? but it's all a woman's choice, really. it feels like really, really intense menstrual cramps.
I went with my sister when she was advised by her doctor that she was to old to have any more children. They put you under to do the procedure and it is a little graphic to put on here what they do but after a short period of time you are brought to recovery. I stayed with my sister for 3 days after she had hers and she was in a lot of pain for the first couple of hours but when she got the proper does of her pain medication she was a lot better. I think it was the emotional pain that hurt more then the physical pain
