Anybody hear any rumors about a male birth control pill?!
Question: Been on the pill 12 yrs. I'm tired of it and now for some reason I have been forgetting to take it, which isn't like me. Maybe it should be his turn to take a pill. I heard a rumor about one once, but don't know if they are actually available...

but if you are sick of the pill like myself get an IUD. I love mine. I have had it for 9 months now and love it. I never have to worry about taking a pill and i am protected for 5 years(4 years 3 months now) and you can get a new one every 5 years. plus when you are ready for kids they can take them out instantly and you can get pregs right away. I will be honest when i say it was a very painful procedure but it only lasted 5 mins then i had "menstrual" cramps for a few hours. know i never get cramps and when i get my period it is very light and last a day or two at the most.
best thing i ever got!!! plus it only cost 25 dollars one time instead of 20 dollars a month on the pill

I was watching somthing on a local TV station today and saw one of those "coming up on the 5 o'clock news" commericals some mention of it. But thats all. I didnt hear the story or anything.
they tried but it had bad side effects. so they started working on viagra instead.
Been tested in other countries. Have you thought of other types of contraceptives like Depo (shot injected in your bottom once a month), the Patch (not the smoking version), one that could be placed in arm through surgery, diaphram, or condoms? There are a lot of other things out there to use but find something that works for you. Please, what ever you do, use something. Children aren't easy to raise.
