Um...females only please?!

Question: Is it true that if a female gets hit on her breast that she can develop breast cancer? The reason why I'm asking is because I take Taekwondo, and there were times in which I accidentally got hit there. We do lots of sparring, and even though I use a protection guard, if I get hit there, it begins to hurt. My mom told me that girls can later develop breast cancer if they get hit there. If that's true, is there anything I can do to protect that area?

no,you have nothing to worry about. im the catcher on mi softball team and i really get hit hard there sometimes....

no....

No.

No. If you are predisposed genetically this might not help things but otherwise, you have as much chance as everyone else does vs. breast cancer. Hope this helps you sort out truth from fiction.

that is sooo not true if it was I'd be dead from breast cancer cause i fight with guys who fight like girls. :\

no, but you can probibly pade the inside of your braw anyway.

Getting hit can't cause cancer.

What happens, though, is that people get it for apparently no reason, then grasp at any idea to try to make it make sense. "I got hit, I got cancer - there ya go." That's like saying I got food poisoning on the day I wore green socks, so the green socks caused it.
