Yes, it's very possible to get ingrown hairs down there... sometimes they also become infected and appear like a large pimple (with pus - gross!). When I was 18 or so I went to the gynecologist freaking out that I had an STD and she assured me I just had an ingrown hair - she said this is very common.

Through the years I've learned that you can get ingrown hairs from both waxing and shaving. Ingrown hairs from waxing can be really bad if you don't treat your skin. Exfoliating helps a great deal - buy a good exfoliator and perhaps a loofah. Also there are lots of ingrown hair prevention products available. I've used a product called Bump Stopper, which is actually for men, but women often use it - it's very affordable and works great for me!

yes it is very possible. (and it sucks)
it bascially looks like hair is growing inside your first layer of skin..it is not pleasant.

To fix, try waxing. It can help a lot

;)

Its perfectly Normall

try exfoliation - waxing can actually casue ingrowing hairs...watch that it doesn't get infectd

You fix it like you fix an ingrown hair anywhere else. You scrub with a loofah and hope it's only under one little layer of skin, or you get the tweezers out. I've been shaving down there for years and I've only had two or three ingrown hairs total. It's easier to treat when it first starts and looks like a little bump. I always go for the tweezer method.

yes an ingrown hair in your womanly spot hurts it looks like a pimple ,gets filled with pus , pops and is sore, use hydrocortizone for the pain and if you wax don't do it as often.
