Women with facial hair, will you please help me?!

Question: I have had a "mustache" for a while now, but lately it seems to be getting darker and more noticeable. It's definitely not as thick as a man's, but it's still somewhat prominent. My sister thinks I should get rid of it. I know there are several questions about facial hair, but I wanted to explain that I have pale, sensitive skin. I'm worried about bumps or rashes popping up if I remove the hair. I would also want something that would give long-lasting results without causing the hair to grow back thicker or darker. What should I do: shave? Nair? Wax? Some sort of cream? Just leave it alone? I'd love to get laser treatment, but unfortunately, I do not have the money for that at this time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Don't use peroxide or anything not meant exactly for bleaching facial hair..Sally Hansen has a cream hair bleach that I think you leave on for just a few minutes and it just makes the hair lighter. It has aloe or something that will be good for sensitive skin. I doubt it's very bad at all, but I can see why you would self conscious. Just know what you see it probably a million times worse than what others actually notice. Everyone has hair everywhere, some just have it a tad darker. It's an easy problem to fix. I just don't suggest shaving it then it will grow stubbly like a mans. Nair isn't good for sensitive skin. Waxing is painful and it grows back different. Bleaching it is definitely the smartest way to go. Good Luck.

you can use facial bleach if you dont want to shave/wax.

Waxing, actually is supposed to make the hair, when it grows back, finer and less noticeable. It also can leave your skin red for a while the first time you have it done. So if you decide to wax, I would suggest doing it sometime when you have no plans.

dont shave will get worse over years

Use benzoyl peroxide, it kind of bleaches the hairs, making them less noticable. But it does dry out your skin. Since products with benzoyl peroxide in them say that they will bleach clothing products and hair, I'm guessing it should work. You should give it a try! : )

try sally henson's hair removal creme, its not painful, and doesn't cause the hair to grow back dark. Just don't leave it on too long or you'll get a rash. You can get it at your local drug store for a couple of bucks.

DONT SHAVE IT. I tell you this from experience. I use Nair, but it really burns my face and leaves me with sores. I have never had luck with wax, but I really have only tried it a few times. I also pluck when I can. its no fun, though.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
