That smell when you have your period?!
Question: So last Friday we're sitting in Science class, and it's kind of a hot day. We get to choose our seats in Science, so my friends and I are all sitting in a row. The seats are close together. Then my friend on my right goes "I think I smell, like, a period smell... ew..." And I'm on my period so I'm just like "Oh s---..." and pretend I didn't hear.
But now I'm really self-conscious about it and in almost all my classes w/ assigned seats for some reason I'm all surrounded by guys, and in the cramped rows. What can I do??? ): I change my pads regularly... I don't just let them sit... I myself can't really smell it unless I like stick my nose down there. Lol. But this only makes me more nervous.

try those cleansing cloths and change your pad regulary, if that doesnt work try a tampon; so the bloods inside you not outside actually. lol. the cleansing cloths worked, and they smell fresh, which made me feel a lot better. that used to happen to me a lot last year, it doesnt happen really anymore. make sure you take showers during your period too, a lot of ppl dont cuz they think its kinda gross if you bleed in the shower but youll smell cleaner! its important to shower on your period

if you have a problem in class, take a damp paper towel and clean it off.
I would try switching to tampons. Pads are pretty gross if you think about it, I will only wear a pad to bed at night, and have had no problems. So I think lol!
eww i know lol i hate that smell what i would do is spray lots of perfume on yourself in the morning and wear scented tampons.
Using wet-wipes during each pad-change helps with the odor.
Many girls use tampons to help with minimizing the odor as well.
Try a tampon! that helps. The blood is obsorbed on the tampon which is inside you, so it doesn't have a smell.
If your unconfertable with that, than a pad with sented padding might be helpfull.
Maybe change your pad a little more often. If you are really afraid of the smell, use a tampon. They don't smell at all.
Hi, By any chance, did any of your friends know you had it?
I suspect it was a not too nice joke. But harmless. Sometimes we all do silly stuff like that, with NO intention of getting our friend tikked off, or distressed in any way.
If it was not a sicki joke, all I can say is, man, there is no way anyone could spell the odor, unless it was sooo much, and rag was in the open air!
I hardly even can smell my own! Don't u think, if you had been even having a heavy flow, u would be changing all the time, there would be no way anyone could smell it.
If nothing else, try changing your brand, I know some people dont like the "dry weave" kind,like Always.
But I love em.
Anyways, do not let this incident make u worry with self consiousness, just let it go, and stay strong.

when taking a shower, clean VERY well so you smell good, and see if there any "smelling good" pads
If its a super hot day and you are using pads you might not be able to help much other than changing pads often.
Take a bath/shower every day of your period if you dont already, and be sure to clean down there a little extra then. A bath can help a lot with that.
Something you may want to do is find either feminine wipes or baby wipes. Some people I know prefer baby wipes because if anyone sees them you can say you use them to freshen up on a hot day to remove sweat, pull one out, and wipe the back of your neck, and offer one to a friend. Theyre good for that too, so its a believable excuse if you are embarassed, and some people will think its a great idea. Either way, you can use either baby wipes or 'feminine' wipes when you go to the bathroom and wipe down there with them. Itll help clean you up some.

there is a pad that has a little small that makes the small go way and the pad smells really nice i use that i have the something and i hate it man
maybe it wasn't you at all
it could have really been your friend who smelled and maybe she wanted your opinion on whether or not she did
because if you're changing your pad often like you say then there's a slim chance that it was you who smelled
maybe your friend doesn't change hers as often as you change yous and it was her
so don't worry about it
