They are awesome =)
i've used pads for like 3 years too, then i switched =).
they are very confortable, you can barely feel them when they are up there.

just relax when you put it in.

when your bleeding heavy, change it every 3 hours.
and where pads to bed instead of tamps
=)

and if anyone ever tells you tampons are for non-virgins, they are wrong.

but i started using them after i lost it.

=)

I never liked them. Found then hard to get in the right place.

I think tampons are fantastic! it doesn't feel like you are wearing a diaper.
They are very comfortable, and you can't even feel them when you put them in right.
Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

tampons are gifts from god. they're not easier than tampons because you have to insert them correctly but they're more comfortable and you don't feel them and yea. just make sure you stick it all the way in or else ... you feel them. my roomate says to read the pamphlet

i love them
for me so comfey,

everyones diff.

get lites, or JRS. or teens or w.e

their smaller for virgins/ teens and such.
make sure u push it in far enough or it'll hurt.
never leave it in too long at the risk of TSS

and dont use one when ur flow is too light itll hurt taking it out.

im 14 and use them and yes they are easier then pads, they dont feel weird and yes they are comfortable really you cant even feel it.(i switched from pads to tampons when i was 13)

much easier.
you feel cleaner too.
doesn't feel weird, you don't feel it. if you do, it's not in right, full, or you have super when you need regular.
get unscented, they are less likely to irritate IMO, but not proven
and you don't have to change it EVERY time you pee, every 4-6 hr is good unless its full

hope this answers all your questions

I find that they are somewhat easier at times, like when wanting to go to the pool. But I know that personally, they tend to not fit me well, and I still leak around them. Thus having to still wear a pad and defeating the whole purpose.

I find that some brands are more comfortable than others. I guess it just depends on your body shape as to whether or not one will be comfortable. Luckily, there are lots of brands and styles so you can probably find one that works for you.

I find I don't really feel them at all until they are fully saturated, then it starts to feel kind of heavy, but otherwise not at all.

They are definitely worth trying. I know a LOT of girls who prefer them.

tampons are MUCH easier to use them pads...they're a lot cleaner and you don't even feel it.

it doesn't feel weird either when it's in the vagina, Since the string is hanging out, i would rest it on your underwear so it doesn't tug when you sit, walk...etc.

i would recommend you buy Playtex Slim-fits. They're much smaller than a regular tampon and you don't need to change them any sooner than you would any other tampon. I would definately go with playtex though instead of Tampax. Tampax tampons are much more uncomfortable and the fibers dont hold very well. hope this helped!

obviously there will be a time when you use them ((4 example in an emergency))

but from what ive heard they can give you tss ((toxic shock syndrome))

Great things! Just make sure you change them out a couple of times a day. The nice things are, no smell like you have when you are wearing a pad. You don't have to worry so much about leaking, especially at night and messing up your underwear, sheets, etc. You can go to the bathroom to urinate with them in, and I don't know about you, but some of those pads make you feel self conscious when you wear them like a diaper would. Also, you can change sizes of the tampon according to your flow. Light, medium and super. I usually use Playtex Pearls because I can get a multiple with three different sizes in them. Hope this helps! I did not start using them until I was 21, because mom was scared for me to use them because she never did.

Try OB Method; there's no hard plastic applicator to hurt your tender spots. You have to be sure to change any tampon on a regular basis or there's the risk of toxic shock syndrome (this will kill you). If the tampon is in place you can't tell you've got one in so you have to remember to remove the last one you use for your period. If you insert it and it hurts, you don't have it in far enough; push it up with your finger.
They're so much more wonderful than pads; eliminate the odor and the bulge and the dirty feeling.
To insert a tampon the first time, lay on your back and pull your legs toward you; this relaxes the pelvic floor, making it easier to insert the tampon. You can practice but if you're not on your period it might be harder to insert; the menstrual blood acts as a lubricant, making it easier to insert the tampon.

1. Easier to use, No. For the simple reason that you have to point it straight up and not be nervous or anything. However, In some ways they are easier because you can disguise them easier plus you have less chance of leaking through.

2. OK! So I like them wayy better. They are comfortable if you push them all the way up. If it is just hanging their, it will hurt super bad and you will walk and sit funny. It takes some practice. haha but they are wayy more comfortable for most people.

3. It only feels weird if you fail to push it all the way up. Unless you really cant feel them.

Everybody is different. So you try and test what you like.

Hope all goes well.

There awesome! wouldnt use anything else.
If its not in correct you will feel it and might be uncomfortable. but once you get it in you shouldnt feel it AT all. The only thing that sucks is leaks, but just use the right size absorbancy. It might take some practice before getting it right so dont give up if you don't like it the first time or can't get it in right. Its much easier to put in once your actually on your period too, so that would be the time to practice. read the tampon box or look up TSS because that is a rare disease you can get. To avoid it just be sure to change your tampon often enough. It usually says not more than 8 hours at a time. Many people dont sleep with them in because of this but i always do and never had a problem.
goodluck you will be so happy to be done with pads!

here's answers to your questions

are they easier to use then pads?
well pads are pretty much stick and go!! lol. you have to get used to using tampons.

are they comfortable?
yes, you don't even know they're there. (get small ones).

does it feel weird when it's in the vagina?
no, again, you don't even know they're there unless you get ones that are too big.

if you can get used to inserting and removing them you'll really like it. it feels much 'cleaner' then with a pad alone. continue to use a pad or panty liner until you get used to how often you have to change your tampon.

oh and by the way, the only time a tampon hurts is if you try and remove it right after you put it in (it's dry and will hurt).

hope this helps

I use tampax tampons. they are convenient for me because I can flush the applicator and the wrapper down the toilet because it's cardboard and paper. You can't feel them, only when your first putting the tampon in . make sure you choose the best size for your flow. for me a regular tampon lasts for about 4-5 hours..a super for 7-8 hours.hope this helps!

I like Playtext Slimfits. When I started to try to use them, I would get so nervous, I could never get it in.
But then, I tried it a few times, after I took a shower, and like magic, it slid right up there.
They are easy and more convient to use and tote in your purse, just use a pany liner, just in case of a leak. Good luck, and have a happy period! LOL.
I waer a pad at night when I sleep.

somebody told me they feel good if u like sticking stuff in virgina they are comfortabale

For me tampons felt weird until I lost my virginity. They never quite fit right or something, I don't know, but I'm sure it's different with everyone. I prefer tampons over pads most of the time. There are rare occasions when I'm sore down there or my cramps are just too bad to use a tampon.

I prefer the ones with plastic applicators over cardboard. They slide in easier. When I'm really heavy though, I wear a pad and a tampon. With work and school, it isn't always possible to change it right when you need to, so the pad helps with leaks. Definitely read the box... The whole thing. The instructions, the tips, and especially the warnings. TSS is a serious thing and you can reduce the severity if you know the prevention and warning signs.

There is nothing wrong with using tampons in fact there is time when they are helpful. Make sure you buy ones with the multi pack small for lite flow and supper for heavy flow. If you follow the directions on the box on how to insert correctly there should be no discomfort. If it hurts it not in correct. When you first use them make sure you use a back up pad in case your flow is real heavy you don't want to leak through.Remember this is blood that is meant to come out so don't leave the tampon in all the time use some pads like when you sleep.Make sure you change your tampon according to instructions they are only to be kept in for so many hours. There is always health risk involved so use them safely.>>>>>>>>Good luck

Yes, they are a lot easier to use than pads. They're smaller and easier to carry around especially since Tampax makes these special ones that are like the size of a tube of MAC lipgloss.

Yes, you could say they're comfortable. You can't feel them if you put them in right.

And no, it doesn't feel weird. You can't feel it.

Just try getting the light ones first if you're not used to them yet.
