How long after birth until you get your period?!

Question: i stopped breastfeeding at 4 1/2 weeks

Answers: i stopped breastfeeding at 4 1/2 weeks

uh der, everyone is an indvivdual ?!?!?!?

when i had my son i had a c-section, i didn't come on until like about 2 months later. i stopped breastfeeding at 2 1/2 months i didn't think that played a role in your period.

the longer you breast feed the longer it will take for you to get your period again. My sis has been breast feeding for about 9 months now and she just recently got it, very light though. she stopped for a little while and got her period, then continued breast feeding and it went away again.

It is diff for everyone. Since you stopped breastfeeding it should come sooner than later. But I have a friend who didnt breastfeed at all and she didnt get hers for 8 months. I am still breastfeeding exclusively and I got mine 3 months after birth (rats). I wish you a long break from your period.

It depends cuz most women that brestfeed dont get there period until they stop breastfeeding. Many women use breastfeeding as a contraceptive but i am not sure if this is really proven effective.

I was kind of unlucky or so I have heard. I bled heavy for a week after giving birth to my son, and then started right up on a normal cycle, although heavier bleeding, just like I was before I was ever pregnant. I nursed my son until he was 2 and had no break at all.

However, I have a friend who did not bleed at all as long as she was nursing. (lucky dog has 5 children and has only had three periods in the last 9 years)
