What would you do (adults only some cursing)?!
Question: ok so this is my story i was going to this new doctor for my asthma and i kept telling him i was tired.i have three kids i'm a stay at home mom and i've been having a few family problems.i tell my doctor that my chest feels really tight and i've been crying for any little thing.so he puts me on xanax i start takig it but it still gets me tired,i kept going to him for about two months and every time i bring something up he starts asking me about my sex life.i change the subject so he starts telling me i want to see you in two weeks to follow up.i start to go and he says well i want to do a pap smear and blood test,everything came out fine.i start to tell him that if he can give me a referral to psychiatric he said no that he wants to keep treating me so he said i have bi-polar i was like damn i really don't feel like i do he puts me on prosac and depoket i was on it for about 2 months and i couldn't take it i felt more depressed he took the depoket away and put me on lithium.

Also write a certified letter to the state medical board telling what happened, and a copy to the federation of state boards. Don't beat yourself up about this and don't listen to people who said you should have known better. We are taught from childhood to respect doctors and view them as somehow better and wiser than the rest of us. This sort of thing happens to intellegent people--it's all his fault, not yours!
God I'm just spitting mad about this and your ER visit!
I hate ERs so much--I almost died one time when they swore my allergic reaction was anxiety.
You should probably look into counseling to help you cope with what has happened. They can also help you decide whether you need these medications or not. You're not an addict, I just mean whether or not your symptoms warrant them. Good luck honey.
This is kinda F'd up but at the same time you kept going to him after you got weird vibes from him so I don't know what to say.
file a compliant against him
talk to his manager and say that he is not helping you with your problem and making uncomfortable moves at you
and that you watn to see a pscyhologist not this doctor
make sure to talk to his supervisor
and file a compliant
trust me, if you feel something is atmiss or uncomfy, then go with tht instinct
another thing, he is more afraid of you than you will ever be afraid of him
You should have listened to your instincts when you felt uncomfortable because he kept bringing up your sex life. That was the time to get out and see another doctor. It's going to be very hard to prove anything because like you said, it's his word against yours. Hope everything works out okay for you.

get another doctor? maybe he might have drugged you up to the eyeballs to distort thinking so he could get you where he wanted? thats might be something you could get him to court for.
even though i'm not a doctor but have been a manic depressant (same as bi-polar) it doesn't sound like it. sounds more like you're a little stressed about everything going on.
this doctor is obviously a pervert and with him asking you about the sex life alone and making his intentions clear at the end, it should be anough to get him in court.
meanwhile find another doctor. a lady doctor.

I would have slapped him if he ever said that to me..... what a ******* pervert...... u should have told his wife and told all his patients that he was a frigan phyco and that he asked to sleep with u ....dont let anyone convince uto do something like that ....good for u for going to to the police and for telling your husband many people wouldnt have told there husband/wife.....he should get charged for sexual harassment....well I hope u get your case...good luck!!
