Question: i had a colposcopy yesterday and i was just wondering what are the after symptoms? ive been bleeding and really bad cramps is this normal? how long does it last? thanks for your help!

i went through same thing in february. i felt kind of bloated, though I know I waasn't. i think i bleed for about a day. like very messy period. it was very red and didn't smell like period type bleeding. I felt kind of crampy for about the same amount of time. the doctor told me if it lasted longer than 2 days to call them. on the second day it went away. they told me when I left my appointment to take advil or whatever pain reliver I wanted, try hot bath or shower and it should be OK.
